But a North East Premier League fixture in England produced one of the strangest scenes in recent memory when an 800kg bull wandered onto the field and refused to leave. The league match between Burnopfield Cricket Club and Hetton Lyons had to be abandoned after the runaway bull entered the ground and repeatedly charged around the playing area. It was a humorous distraction that could’ve caused some pain to players, officials and spectators.
