Dabang Delhi K.C’s last few matches hasn’t gone the way they wanted it to be. The team that started the league with five straight wins are now struggling after four consecutive losses. They will look to end their losing streak and get back to winning ways as they take on home team Puneri Paltan on Tuesday.
Out of Delhi’s four losses, while the first three defeats were by a close margin, they are entering the upcoming contest after a 39-49 loss to Tamil Thalaivas in their previous game. Against Thalaivas, Naveen Kumar had a rare outing where he managed to score just 5 raid points. He needs to be at his best to help his team come out of the slump. Ashu’s performance in the previous game is a consolation for Delhi as the raider picked up a Super 10 Ashu too needs to be at this same form that could augur well for the defending champions.
Delhi defence too has been struggling of late. Vishal, Krishan and Ravi Kumar did not pick up a single High 5 in their last four games and against Tamil Thalaivas the defence completely failed as only two tackle points were scored in the entire match, against Patan that has a strong raiding department, the Delhi defenders need to be at their best.

Meanwhile, Puneri Paltan are in great touch as they fourth in the standings with four wins, two losses and a tie. In their last five matches they did not face even a single loss as the won four matches, while one game ended up in a tie. They are now looking to continue the same momentum in front of their home crowd.
Aslam Inamdar has been the star raider for them with 71 raid points. Mohit Goyat has played second fiddle in attack to Inamdar with 55 raid points. Both the players have been crucial to the team’s success so far and will look to continue their good form. Against a Delhi defence that hasn’t performed well in their recent outings, Inamdar and Giyat has a great chance to add more raid points to their tally.
In defence, Fazel Atrachali has been effective not just as a captain but more so as a defender with 18 tackle points. Sombir and Gaurav Khatri have also contributed in defence with 13 and 10 tackle points respectively, while all-rounder Mohammad Nabibakhsh has scored seven tackle points. The defence is awaiting a big test against Delhi’s Naveen in the upcoming contest.
