Top seed Unnati Hooda will be up against Thailand’s Nutchavee Sittiteernan in the U-17 Girls Singles at 4.00 PM. Meanwhile, unseeded Anmol Kharb will face USA’s Dani Sofea at 5.10 PM. Dhruv Negi is the only remaining Indian in the Boys U-17 category in the singles and he faces Ryan Putra Widyanto for a spot in the quarterfinals. In the Under-15 singles category, Tankara Gnana Talasila and Anish Thoppani are the only remaining Indians in fray.
Meanwhile the campaign is all set to begin for the doubles and Mixed Doubles players. In the Under-17 Boys Doubles, India’s fifth seeded Divyam Arora and Mayank Rana will be facing Indonesia’s Hanif-Fausta pair for a spot in the pre-quarterfinals. Sixth seeded Arsh Mohammaed and Sanskar Saraswat will face Indonesia’s Mahrizal-Mukuan pair.
In the U-17 Girls Doubles, second seeded Kalagotla-Valishetty pair will begin their campaign by facing Thailand’s Mijad-Momin duo. Meanwhile, fourth seeded Kanderi-Ramraj pair will be up against Japan’s Kamio-Shirakawa.
