As mentioned above, the right-handed batter played a knock of 55 runs in just 29 balls which included eight fours and two big maximums. He got out while trying to lap a delivery over the fine-leg region but Sandeep Sharma took a blinder of a catch to get the better of the batter.

Meanwhile, MI has now won four out of their eight games and are placed 8th on the points table. However, they are just two points behind LSG who are placed second on the points table. With this win, the five-time champions will surely be thinking about getting back to back victories and complete a big turnaround in the competition.

“SKY (Suryakumar Yadav) obviously we knew a knock like today was round the corner. (On Jaiswal) I watched him last year, this year he has taken his game to a new level. I asked him where all that power is coming from, he says he is spending time at the gym, he’s timing them really well. Good for him, good for Indian cricket and good for RR as well,” MI skipper Rohit said after the match.
