The focus has shifted from IPL 2024 to the T20 World Cup squad as the selectors announced the highly-anticipated 15-member side for the marquee event. Ahead of the May 1 deadline, the selectors finalized the squad that will head to the USA and Caribbean in hunt of their 2nd World Cup trophy after 2007. LSG vs MI Highlights: Lucknow march to third on the points table after last-over win against Mumbai

Image
LSG vs MI Highlights: Mumbai Indians succumbed to their third consecutive defeat as they put on a poor batting display against the Lucknow Super Giants. KL Rahul’s decision to bowl first proved to be a masterstroke as Mohsin Khan and Stoinis dismantled MI’s top order. Wickets tumbled, and only a defiant 46 from Nehal Wadhera took MI to a weak 144. LSG’s chase was aided by Stoinis’ brutal six-hitting, securing a comfortable win with four wickets to spare. This victory cemented LSG’s place in the top half of the table, while MI’s woes continued. Mayank Yadav out of IPL 2024? LSG coach Langer provides massive update on speedster’s injury

Image
Lucknow Super Giants were dealt with a severe blow as their main speedster Mayank Yadav walked off the field once again, after facing a side strain, on his comeback from the same injury. The pacer, who raked up speeds of over 155 kmph in the IPL 2024, could only bowl 3.1 overs in his spell against Mumbai Indians , claiming figures of 1/31. Against Mumbai, in his return match, it looked like that Mayank wasn’t still operating at a 100%. He managed to bowl in 140s consistently, but used a lot of slower balls, while his fastest delivery was a little over 146 kmph. Eventually, he left the field, before completing his quota of overs. The Kolkata Knight Riders aren’t to be taken lightly. Rajasthan Royals may have occupied the top spot, but the Shreyas Iyer-led side isn’t that far behind. He also stormed into the top five run-getters l...
