IND vs PAK T20 World Cup: Team India gets three-layer security at hotel after terror threat
After reports of a possible terror threat by a Pro ISIS group, to the IND vs PAK encounter in the T20 World Cup 2024 surfaced, the security cover has been increased at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium. The sources in the know revealed, that there is already a three-layer security at the team hotel and no outsiders are allowed within the 50m of the hotel, apart from the guests.
Other than that, additionally, as per a report in ESPNCricinfo, a statement by the governor’s office said that the situation is being monitored, and that was no credible public safety threat at the moment. Kathy Hochul, the governor for the state of New York, said that the authorities have worked for months, to ensure the safe hosting of these matches.

IND vs PAK at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium
Before the IND vs PAK match at the venue on June 9, Team India will playa a warm-up match against Bangladesh at the same stadium on June 1, followed by their match against Canada on June 5. Rohit Sharma’s Men in Blue would also play their encounter against hosts USA on the same Nassau County ground. Meanwhile, the team arrived in the USA on Tuesday, while Virat Kohli is yet to reach the country.
