India cricket team pacer Arshdeep Singh is on the cusp of creating history in IND vs ENG 3rd T20I in Rajkot. The bowler is just two wickets away from becoming the fastest pacer to take 100 wickets in T20Is. The southpaw has been India’s go-to bowler in the shortest format of the game in the absence of veterans Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah and has consistently delivered with the ball for the side.

Currently, Pakistan’s Haris Rauf holds the record for the fastest bowler to reach 100 wickets, having breached the mark in 71 T20Is. Arshdeep, on the other hand has played 62 matches so far and will be looking to achieve the milestone in his 63rd match. He also has the chance to become the fourth fastest pacer to reach 100 wickets in T20Is during the contest in Rajkot.
