CSK Qualification Scenario: MS Dhoni’s team knocked out of IPL 2025 Playoffs race

Everything that could possibly go wrong for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League has gone wrong. MS Dhoni & Co have suffered their 5th loss at home this season, retaining the bottom spot with just 4 wins in 10 matches. With their loss to Punjab Kings, CSK can now reach a maximum of 12 points from 14 matches. That won’t be enough to seal the IPL 2025 playoffs spot. Thus, CSK have become the first team to get knocked out of the race.
