All eyes are on Team India’s composition for the ENG vs IND 2nd Test at the Edgbaston which begins from July 3. Ahead of the tie, skipper Shubman Gill hinted at the possibility of playing two spinners in the contest, although he kept tight lipped about Kuldeep Yadav. Jasprit Bumrah’s participation is still unconfirmed. In other news, CSK has officially admitted that they are indeed eyeing Sanju Samson for IPL 2026. Two Spinners, Confirms Shubman Gill

 India will have a rare occasion in the 2nd Test when they will go with two spinners in England. Gill admitted that an additional spinner in Leeds would have helped in the fourth innings. Gill wants lower order to pull up socks

On the eve of the second Test in Birmingham, Shubman Gill said that the top-order needs to take responsibility, since the tail is not as strong as some of the other teams in the world.  Bumrah will play the IND vs ENG Edgbaston Test. While there were talks of resting Bumrah for the 2nd Test, India assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate confirmed that Bumrah is available to play. The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) has held the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) responsible for the deadly stampede that claimed the lives of 11 individuals and injured over 50 people on June 4. In the aftermath, the Bengaluru government held the police responsible and suspended three IPS officers.
