India vs Pakistan Asia Cup Final match tickets sold out
Dubai is set for perhaps the biggest cricketing carnival on Sunday (Sept 28) as India and Pakistan lock horns in the Asia Cup 2025 final. It is a broadcaster’s dream as well, the fact that the two arch-nemsis are meeting thrice in as many consecutive weeks. A lot of outisde noise has also grasped the attention.
Sold out Asia Cup final tickets
Unsurprisngly, organisers have confirmed that tickets for the 28,000-seater Dubai International Cricket Stadium have been completely sold out, making the clash a house-full affair. It was supposed to happen since it will be the first time in Asia Cup’s 41-year-old history that the two sides will clash in a final. It will also be the first multi-nation tournament final between the two countries since the 2017 ODI Champions Trophy final. Check India vs Pakistan finals head-to-head record here.
According to GeoSuper News, earlier games between the sides had already pulled in huge crowds, as 20,000 fans attended their group-stage clash on September 14, while another 17,000 turned up for the Super Four meeting on September 21. Both games ended in India’s favour in a lopsided manner. Now, Pakistan will be looking to turn the tables.
India dominant, Pakistan resilient
On paper, India head into the contest as overwhelming favourites. They have beaten Pakistan twice in this edition already and hold a dominant head-to-head record in T20Is, winning 12 of their 15 meetings. Suryakumar Yadav’s side has looked balanced across departments, although they are yet to play their perfect game since the Super Fours. There has been an overreliance on Abhishek Sharma, meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah is yet to deliver his customary masterclass.
Pakistan, meanwhile, arrive in the final with a tag of underdogs. Their campaign has been far from smooth, nearly derailed by Bangladesh in the Super Fours. But Agha Salman’s men showed character, pulling off a gritty 11-run win that sealed their passage to Sunday’s decider. If Pakistan are to lift the trophy, they will need their batting unit to fire collectively and their bowlers to find early breakthroughs against India’s in-form top order.
Hospitality packages still open
While regular tickets are gone, a few premium hospitality seats remain available on the official site. The Sky Box – Lounge is priced at USD 2,267.03 (Rs 2 lac), the Boundary Lounge package at USD 1,700.27 (Rs 1.5 lac), and the Grand Lounge experience at USD 991.83 (Rs 88 thousand). These, too, are expected to be snapped up quickly as fans scramble for a last-minute entry into what promises to be a historic night in Dubai.
