Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have appointed a new head coach for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. A potential trade between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT) has been confirmed. The trade talk regarding Washington Sundar seems to be true. Tamil Nadu bowler, K Vignesh, while speaking on Ravichandran Ashwin’s YouTube channel, confirmed that GT will trade the spin-bowling all-rounder to CSK for an all-cash deal, much like they traded Hardik Pandya to MI in 2023.

Shreyas Iyer & Nitish Reddy injury update

Shreyas Iyer will, in all likelihood, be out of action for 3 weeks. Yesterday, Shreyas sustained a left rib cage injury while fielding and was taken to the hospital. Nitish Reddy, who sustained a left quadriceps injury during the second Adelaide ODI, will likely miss the India vs Australia 1st T20I but will be available for selection afterwards.
