Even though he’s lost weight and passed the fitness tests, the BCCI isn’t sure if he’ll manage to stay sharp and perform.

Former Chairman of Selectors Krishnamachari Srikkanth has lashed out at India head coach Gautam Gambhir for selecting Harshit Rana for the India vs Australia series despite poor returns in his international career so far. Srikkanth claimed that Harshit was only selected because he’s a ‘yes-man’ to Gambhir.

As expected, the India and Pakistan captains didn’t shake hands during their Women’s ODI World Cup clash. But controversy still struck. After Harmanpreet Kaur tossed the coin in the air, Fatima Sana called ‘tails’, but match referee Shandre Fritz called ‘heads’ mistakenly. Fatima won the toss and then opted to chase.
