Asia Cup saga continues

In a fresh twist to the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 saga, the trophy has reoprtedly been relocated to a different location in Abu Dhabi under the custody of Pakistan Cricket Board and ACC chairman Mohsin Naqvi. As per the report, a BCCI official who had visited the ACC office earlier this month had enquired about the trophy and had been informed that it had been shifted to another location in custody of the PCB chairman. Tushar Deshpande, who was a part of CSK in IPL 2024 before moving to RR in 2025, revealed how Dhoni had fooled the fans in 2024. The pacer claimed that he was told by the CSK stalwart to tell Jadeja that he would go out to bat ahead of the former skipper in the game against KKR. What happened next was the pacer going on to communicate the same to the all-rounder, only for Thala to enter from behind, leading to the crowd erupting. Read more here.

Goodbye Rohit Sharma?

A light-hearted exchange between Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir and Rohit Sharma has become the talking point of India’s ongoing ODI series against Australia. A short clip doing the rounds on social media shows Gambhir telling Rohit, “Rohit, sabko lag rha tha ki aaj farewell match thha, ek photo to lagaa do.” The video has gone viral, possibly after the second ODI in Adelaide. The exclusion of Sarfaraz Khan from Team India’s Test side is baffling. He is one of the most prolific run-scorers in domestic circuit, and hasn’t been bad in the limited opportunities he has had at the Test level.
