Jadeja wants to be RR captain
Jadeja has informed the RR management that he wishes to be the captain if the trade deal between the team and CSK is finalized. The report claims that the all-rounder wants to spend the final years of his IPL career with more responsibility and leadership. Jadeja started his IPL career with RR way back in 2007 and then moved to Kochi before finally settling down with CSK. Read more here.

Arjun Tendulkar to move to LSG?
Former India off-spinner R Ashwin feels that MI might have just completed the trade deal for LSG pacer Shardul Thakur. In fact, a report suggests, that Arjun Tendulkar could be on his way to LSG, so that Thakur can come to MI. Arjun has spent a few seasons with MI, but has played only five matches, where he has picked up three wickets. Read more here.

No NKR for IND vs SA 1st Test
India cricket team star Nitish Kumar Reddy is unlikely to make it to the playing XI for the IND vs SA 1st Test, assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate informed on Wednesday. The Andhra Pradesh all-rounder was last seen in action during the ODI series against Australia following which he was ruled out due to a quadrecips injury. IND vs SA 1st Test will be held at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata and is scheduled to commence from November 14 onwards. Read more here.

RCB home games in Pune?
In all likelihood, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are set to begin their title defence away from their iconic home ground, as the team may have to play all its IPL 2026 home matches in Pune. The development follows the ongoing suspension of the M Chinnaswamy Stadium after the tragic stampede during RCB’s victory parade on June 4. Read more here.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been asked by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to play in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025/26 if they wish to represent India in ODIs in the future. The duo, who retired from T20Is last year and Test in May 2025, are currently active only in ODIs and were last seen in action in the series against Australia. SO, it seems that Hardik Pandya is fully fit, after recovering from his left quadricep injury. He is all set for India return, but he must prove his fitness, albeit in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, for Baroda. Post that, he could be seen in action in the IND vs SA ODI series.
