India could face Pakistan at ACC Asia Cup Rising Stars Final as semi-final fixtures get confirmed
The semi-final stage is set for the ACC Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars. After 12 entertaining fixtures that featured some of the best upcoming talents of Asia, four teams – India A, Pakistan A, Bangladesh A and Sri Lanka A – have ended up in the final four. Formerly known as the ACC Emerging Asia Cup, the continental tournament is crucial for giving budding cricketers a great platform.
India A vs Pakistan A at the Asia Cup final?
As far as the marquee India A vs Pakistan A fixture goes, we can have that in the final. Earlier this year, fans witnessed a thrilling trilogy of India vs Pakistan matches at the senior Asia Cup 2025, where India ended up on the winning side. While the outside drama took the center stage, India won the Asia Cup unbeaten under Suryakumar Yadav. Unfortunately, it can’t happen with Jitesh Sharma’s India A, as they lost their group stage to Pakistan A.
Pakistan A completely mauled India A in the group stages, winning the encounter with 8 wickets and 40 balls to spare. Maaz Sadaqat’s all-round performance (79* & 2/12) proved too much for the IPL stats. But now, India A could have a crack at their rivals once more if both teams manage to win their semi-final games.
We will have the two semi-finals on November 21. At 3:00 PM IST, India A and Bangladesh A will face each other before a great Pakistan A vs Sri Lanka A clash takes place at 8:00 PM IST. The final is set to be played on November 23, Sunday.
