DRS, Dec 15: Cameron Green’s auction goof-up & Sarfaraz Khan sends IPL franchise’s reminder
Sarfaraz Khan continues to impress in the lead-up to the IPL 2026 auction, while Cameron Green has admitted to making a mistake. While Hardik Pandya created a record in Dharamshala, Suryakumar Yadav and Shubman Gill continued to struggle. BCCI hasn’t paid any heed to ICC’s request.

Uthappa backs SKY
In an exclusive chat with InsideSport, Robin Uthappa claimed that Suryakumar Yadav isn’t out of form. The former Indian and IPL star thinks the T20I captain hasn’t been giving himself enough time and clarity. Uthappa thinks that once Suryakumar plays at a fixed position, runs will start flowing off his bat.

Hardik Pandya, once-in-a-lifetime player
Hardik Pandya has become the first fast-bowling all-rounder to achieve the double of 100 wickets and 1000 runs in T20I cricket. After claiming Tristan Stubbs’ wicket in Dharamshala, Hardik became the third Indian bowler to take 100 wickets in T20Is, after Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah.

Cameron Green’s auction mistake
After Cameron Green was listed as a batter in the players’ list for the IPL 2026 auction, the Australian all-rounder labelled it as a ‘mistake’. Green stated that his manager selected the wrong box when registering him, and that’s why he’s listed as a batter instead of an all-rounder.

Gill’s poor form continues
Shubman Gill’s willow remained silent in Dharamshala as well. After underwhelming performances in Cuttack and Mullanpur, Gill entered the 20s, but it didn’t go the way he’d wanted. The opener looked scratchy throughout, and despite luck on his side, Gill ended up scoring a run-a-ball 28.

Sarfaraz Khan smashes SMAT fifty
Sarfaraz Khan has sent IPL franchises another reminder before the 2026 auction as to what he can do in T20 cricket. Less than 2 weeks after scoring his maiden T20 hundred, Sarfaraz has scored an 18-ball fifty in Mumbai’s highest successful chase in SMAT history. The batter ended up with 64 (25) to his name.

No love in IND vs PAK match
The ‘no handshake’ policy for India vs Pakistan matches has continued. Despite the ICC urging BCCI to reconsider their stance, Indian players refused to shake hands with Pakistani players during their clash at the Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup 2025.
