Salman Ali Agha was asked about whether Pakistan is pleased that Abhishek Sharma might not feature for India. The Pakistan captain hopes Abhishek plays, as they want to face the best Indian team. Later, Suryakumar Yadav cheekily responded that if Agha wants, Abhishek will play. Therefore, confirming his availability.

Will India and Pakistan players shake hands in Colombo? Salman Ali Agha wants India to follow the ‘spirit of the game’ and not repeat what happened at the 2025 Asia Cup. But will that happen? India’s captain Suryakumar Yadav didn’t give a clear answer, stating everyone will have to wait to see what happens.

After the ICC and PCB resolved issues and the India vs Pakistan match boycott was off the table, ICC chairman Jay Shah and PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi will watch the high-octane game together in Colombo. One can expect them to engage in discussions and ensure similar issues don’t reoccur in the future.

Afghanistan analyst suffers heart attack

In concerning news, Afghanistan’s performance analyst KC Rama Subramanian had to undergo emergency surgery, angioplasty. Rama experienced chest pain, and after being rushed to Fortis Hospital in Delhi, he found out that he’d suffered a mild heart attack. Luckily, he is out of danger.
