India’s under-19 team has broken an all-time record to storm into the final. MS Dhoni has spoken about Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and the T20 World Cup 2026. Has Sanju Samson’s opening dream ended? Kishan warms up for T20 World Cup

India and South Africa experimented extensively in their warm-up match in Navi Mumbai. Combined, they used 17 bowlers. George Linde opened the batting for the Proteas, while Jasprit Bumrah didn’t play for the Men in Blue. One thing worth noting was that India virtually confirmed Ishan Kishan as India’s second opener, based on Suryakumar Yadav’s comment and the fact that Sanju Samson didn’t even take the field.

Dhoni warns India about ‘dew’

MS Dhoni believes Team India has all the tools to lift the T20 World Cup trophy on March 8. The former Indian captain believes the Men in Blue have experience, the ability to handle pressure, and proven players. However, Dhoni fears that dew might cause an issue, which means the toss itself can decide the result of the match.

The ICC might drag PCB to court if Pakistan boycotts the India game. It’s believed that PCB could be sanctioned by ICC and may be sued by the broadcaster, JioStar. The India vs Pakistan match is valued at approximately INR 2289 crore, and if it doesn’t go ahead, the broadcaster will instruct the ICC to recover their loss.

India has reached the Under-19 ODI World Cup final. Afghanistan delivered a spirited batting performance, posting 310 on the board after Faisal Shinozada and Uzairullah Niazai scored hundreds. However, India’s top three of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Aaron George, and Ayush Mhatre proved to be too good for Afghanistan, as India chased the record target in just 41.1 overs.

Saim Ayub, back as No.1

Pakistan’s Saim Ayub has regained his mantle of number one-ranked T20I all-rounder ahead of the T20 World Cup. Ayub, who opens the batting and bowling for Pakistan, put in a stellar performance against Australia, scoring 119 runs and taking 3 wickets. India’s Shivam Dube has re-entered the top ten as well.
