Officials have formally announced that Naraka Bladepoint and PUBG Mobile/BGMI would be removed from the NESC 2026 at the Asian Games 2026 qualifiers. Why BGMI and Naraka Bladepoint were Dropped from NESC 2026

The authorities, in their official declaration, have stated their decision to halt the BGMI qualifiers for the Asian Games 2026 due to the complexities surrounding the game.

The authorities have stated their decision to step back due to the regulatory factors in India, along with the current ban on the game, i.e., PUBG Mobile. The local teams will not be able to compete for the medal in this game for the Asian Games 2026.

In addition to the mobile-based battle royale game, Naraka Bladepoint was also removed from the qualifiers. According to the organizers of the qualifiers, the reason for this was the fact that there was a very small number of registered participants for the game.
