Many users have reported that they’re unable to log in to the game with their Facebook account. The company has acknowledged the problem, and here’s all the information you need to know about the situation.

What is the Facebook Login Problem?

At present, players using Facebook as a login option are encountering issues such as failed login attempts and error messages. KRAFTON has explained that this is not a bug in the BGMI app itself.

The problem is caused by a unstable login service provided by Facebook. If it’s a problem with Facebook’s login service, then it’s unlikely that reinstalling your game or clearing your cache will resolve the problem.

How to Fix the Login Error

While we wait for Facebook to fix its servers, there are a few ways you can still access your account:

  • Use a Linked Secondary Method: If you have previously linked your BGMI account to Google Play Games, Twitter (X), or an Apple ID, try logging in through those platforms. They are working perfectly fine.
  • Avoid Constant Retries: Spamming the login button can sometimes lead to temporary IP bans or further errors. Give it some time between attempts.
  • Check for Game Updates: Sometimes a small in-game patch can help the game communicate better with external services. Make sure your app is updated to the latest version.

This is a huge reminder of the need to not rely on a single login mechanism. In the gaming world, a third-party service like Facebook or Twitter is not immune to going down at any time. To avoid being locked out in the future, go to your in-game settings and link at least one other social media platform or email.
