Abhishek Sharma’s a major talking point before the T20 World Cup final. Ravichandran Ashwin labelled his batting display in the semifinal as ‘headless’ but still backed him to play against New Zealand on March 8. Sanju Samson backed his teammate as well, confidently stating, ‘The final is going to be his day.’

Ashwin also decoded why Varun Chakaravarthy’s performance has dipped. Apart from Jemimah Rodrigues, no Indian batter showed the resolve required. Australia trails by 102 runs with 7 wickets in hand.
