It seems that Riot Games is about to cash in on one of its most profitable cosmetic series. As per the latest leaks from the gaming community, Valorant is set to introduce the long-awaited new version of the famous Kuronami 2.0 skin bundle. Despite the lack of any official announcement or a game patch linked to the launch of the drop, it is apparent that a new cosmetic line is in the making.

Expected Weapons and Transforming Melee in VALORANT Kuronami 2.0 Skin Bundle

The original Kuronami collection became an instant classic because it was incredibly clean, stylish, and free of overly flashy distractions. For this upcoming sequel, leakers suggest the bundle will feature skins for the following highly utilized weapons:

  • Phantom
  • Ghost
  • Operator
  • Guardian

However, the absolute highlight of Kuronami 2.0 is its melee weapon. Reports indicate a unique, first-of-its-kind transforming mechanic. The weapon reportedly starts as a sleek, katana-like blade but seamlessly transforms into a tactical kunai when players trigger the inspect animation.

Expected Pricing for Kuronami 2.0

Since the Kuronami 2.0 bundle falls into the premium range, the cost will naturally be in line with its high quality. According to recent leaks and price forecasts based on the first Kuronami 1.0 bundle, the total cost for the entire set will be between 8,700 and 9,500 VP.

For those who would like to obtain only the individual skins instead of the whole bundle, the price of a single skin for the Phantom or Operator will likely fall within the range of 2,175 to 2,375 VP.

In terms of strategy, making a sequel bundle package will be highly beneficial for Riot Games because it will genuinely guarantee sales among fans of the original series

Cosmetics do not provide any stats whatsoever, but the lack of intrusive audio and visuals associated with Kuronami will definitely be preferred by many ranked players.
