VALORANT Patch 12.07 Notes: Discord Integration, New Settings UI, and QoL Fixes
VALORANT Patch 12.07 is officially here, but instead of shifting the competitive meta with agent balancing or weapon tuning, Riot Games is focusing entirely on massive Quality-of-Life (QoL) upgrades. This update aims to make the social ecosystem and menu experience smoother than ever. Here is a practical breakdown of the biggest changes.
VALORANT Patch 12.07 Discord Integration
The most exciting new addition in VALORANT Patch 12.07, however, has got to be the Discord integration. It is now possible to add your Discord contacts and send lobby links without having to exit the game to do so. No more Alt+Tabbing for you! It is a major step forward socially, as it makes it significantly easier to form parties and teams.
The integration is currently being launched by region, starting with Brazil and North America, then becoming globally available in Patch 12.08.
Settings Page Revamp (PC Only)
One of the more noteworthy additions for PC players will be the revamped Settings menu, which includes not only a new organization of options, but also some useful tooltips. Options such as User Interface, Content Filtering, and Network have all been rearranged, allowing both new and seasoned players to easily find important settings needed for competitive gameplay.
Best of all, Riot Games guarantees that this won’t interfere with the fast pace of mid-game settings changes.

Performance and Cosmetic Fixes
Regarding performance, it seems the devs have at last fixed the menu stuttering associated with having too many friends.
On the cosmetic side, there have been reticle updates made for some higher-tier weapon scopes to ensure consistency with the base scope visuals. The updated skins include the Kuronami, EX.O, and Nocturnum Marshals, as well as the Araxys Outlaw and Operator skins. Lastly, Store UI bugs like purchase clipping and darker spray previews have been refined.
All things considered, despite Patch 12.07 maintaining the balance status quo, it makes key ecosystem enhancements that greatly improve the VALORANT experience.
