Vaibhav Sooryavanshi ready to play for India

At 15, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has delivered one of the most remarkable batting seasons in IPL history. He broke Chris Gayle’s six-hitting record, became the first uncapped player to exceed 700 runs in a season, and redefined powerplay batting against world-class attacks. Rajasthan Royals coach Kumar Sangakkara stated post-Qualifier 2 that Suryavanshi is ready for international cricket. In GT’s Qualifier 2 win, Suryavanshi scored 96 off 47 after adjusting to short-pitched bowling and wickets falling around him. Mumbai Indians’ dressing room leaks

Mumbai Indians are set for a major overhaul after three poor IPL seasons, with dressing room confidentiality becoming the franchise’s immediate priority before captaincy or player reviews. Per TimesofIndia.com, MI are frustrated by persistent leaks of internal meetings, strategy, and conversations since Hardik Pandya replaced Rohit Sharma as captain in 2024. The division and bitterness reportedly intensified after Pandya’s trade from Gujarat Titans, with reports of a split camp and visible issues in body language and on-field approach. Asian Games squad?

The 2026 Asian Games men’s cricket tournament will run from September 17 to October 3 in Japan, but India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav is reportedly not in BCCI’s 30-player probables list. According to Amar Ujala, the list includes Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah, with the final 15-member squad due around June 10. Scheduling clashes mean India’s senior side will play West Indies in ODIs/T20Is simultaneously, so the Asian Games squad is expected to feature younger IPL performers like 15-year-old Suryavanshi, who topped IPL 2026 with 776 runs at a 237.31 strike rate. Rishabh Pant update

Rishabh Pant’s resignation as Lucknow Super Giants captain in IPL 2026 followed months of deliberation, with India Today reporting he informed LSG of his intent mid-season but was urged to reconsider.
