Bumrah was reportedly given a bed rest only for the pacer to announce that that was a baseless rumour. Continuing another narrative was the rumour, stating that Gautam Gambhir accused Sarfaraz Khan for leaking dressing room secrets of Team India. To put it bluntly, the BCCI is in shambles currently. Ever since New Zealand cleanswept India, things have gone up for a toss, with news even saying that Gambhir even reprimanded bowling coach Morne Morkel for being late for training. Sarfaraz Khan leaked secrets?

A shocking report claims that India’s head coach, Gautam Gambhir, accused Sarfaraz Khan of leaking dressing room secrets to the media. The alleged incident occurred during a review meeting after India’s loss in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Gambhir reportedly told the BCCI that Sarfaraz was responsible for the leak. However, neither Gambhir nor Sarfaraz has commented on the matter, and the report’s authenticity remains unverified as well. Gautam Gambhir scolded Morkel?

A report also claims that Indian coach Gautam Gambhir publicly reprimanded bowling coach Morne Morkel for being late to a training session during the IND vs AUS Test series. Morkel allegedly arrived late due to a personal meeting. The incident reportedly left Morkel reserved for the rest of the tour. The BCCI is also scrutinizing assistant coaches Abhishek Nayar and Ryan ten Doeschate following India’s 1-3 loss in the series. Their contracts may be capped at 2-3 years. Big blow to KKR!

Anrich Nortje has been ruled out of the Champions Trophy 2025 and is likely to miss IPL 2025 due to a back injury. The South African pacer was set to make his international return from a toe injury but will now undergo rehabilitation. This could be a massive blow to Kolkata Knight Riders, who signed Nortje for Rs 6.50 crore. The team will have to rely on younger bowlers in his absence. India’s women’s cricket team thrashed Ireland by 304 runs, sealing a 3-0 series whitewash.
